Attorney Bernie Friedman and Wife Marta Honored by Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, April 1— Becker & Poliakoff is pleased to announce that attorney Bernie Friedman and his wife Marta were honored by Hillel, the largest Jewish campus organization in the world, at the “Hillel 954: Focus on Broward County” event, March 30. Bernie Friedman is the shareholder in charge of the firm’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice group.

The Friedman’s were recognized as lifetime leaders and achievers in South Florida and in the national pro-Israel movement. In announcing that it would honor Bernie and Marta, Hillel noted:

“Marta and Bernie Friedman will be recognized for their commitment to Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach and for their extraordinary leadership as a past President of the David Posnack JCC and 26 year lobbyist for the Florida Jewish Federations and dozens of Jewish Agencies before our state government in Tallahassee. Marta has been a tireless champion of our libraries as a long-time member of the Broward County Library Advisory Board. As a couple they have dedicated their lives to building a better community for their daughter Elana and for the next generation of young leaders.”
