Becker & Poliakoff Makes Additional Lateral Hires, Bolstering Real Estate, Lobbying and Corporate Practice Groups

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.  – June 24, 2016 – Law firm Becker & Poliakoff has added lateral hires, bolstering its Real Estate, Government Law and Lobbying, and Corporate and Securities practice groups. The new attorneys and lobbyists, who joined the firm’s offices in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Naples, Fla., West Palm Beach, Fla., and Washington, D.C., are part of the firm’s ongoing expansion in response to a growing need for its services.

Frank J. Campoamor has joined the Real Estate Practice Group in the firm’s Naples office as of counsel. He counsels clients on a full range of commercial and residential real estate needs, including commercial and residential real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing, real estate financing and commercial loan documentation, real estate development, and construction. Campoamor previously was the owner of Campoamor Law Firm. He received a bachelor’s degree from University of Florida and a law degree from Florida State University.

Adam M. Cohen has joined the Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters as a shareholder, bringing more than 15 years of experience in corporate and real estate transactions. Cohen has a wide range of experience encompassing transaction securities matters, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and transactional real estate deals. Cohen previously worked at Edward H. Gilbert, P.A. He received a bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan and a law degree from Loyola Law School.

Cherrie F. Goudreau has joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters, bringing more than 15 years of real estate transaction experience. Goudreau previously was a senior associate at Bloomgarden, Goudreau & Rosen, P.A. She received a bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University and a law degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Laurie Rains Rowe has joined the firm’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice Group in the Washington, D.C., office as a lobbyist. She is a senior corporate strategy and government affairs professional with more than 28 years of experience in the policy-making process. Rowe previously was a principal with a political consulting firm. She received a bachelor’s degree from Williams Woods University.

Philip C. Rosen has joined the firm’s Real Estate practice group at the Fort Lauderdale headquarters as a shareholder. He focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate matters and business transactions. Rosen previously was a partner at Bloomgarden, Goudreau & Rosen, P.A.. He received a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Alexander T. Silbey has joined the firm’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice Group at its Washington, D.C., office as a senior government relations consultant. He focuses on working with the members of Congress and their staffs after spending years as a staffer on Capitol Hill. Silbey previously served as senior policy advisor for U.S. Congressman James E. Clyburn (D-SC). He received a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
