FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – August 30, 2016 – Becker & Poliakoff members Scott Kiernan, a board-certified construction attorney, and Sarah E. Spector, a community association attorney, have been promoted to shareholder.
Kiernan, based at the firm’s Orlando, Fla. office, focuses his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, with a strong focus on construction litigation. He routinely handles construction cases for all parties from homeowners to homeowner associations, and from subcontractors to general contractors and developers.
Spector, based at its Fort Myers, Fla. office, assists condominium, cooperative, and homeowners’ association clients with the management and operational aspects of governing their communities. She also provides the firm’s association clients with zoning and land use representation, including environmental resource and water use permitting, local and state code compliance and various government agreements.
