Lance Clouse concentrates his practice on community association law, providing advice and counsel to board members and professional managers of multi-family housing communities. Lance also has broad experience in areas of law relating to the Community Association practice, including real estate law, drafting and negotiating contracts, foreclosure actions, residential and commercial landlord/tenant issue, cable television issues, hurricane recovery issues, insurance issues, trademark registration and renewal, and more.
Mr. Clouse conducts many presentations throughout the Treasure Coast regarding board certification, hurricane preparedness, legislation, as well as many other topics of interest to community association boards of directors, managers and owners. He is the President and a founding member of M.B.A. Productions, Corp., which provides educational seminars for board members and property managers held monthly in Tradition Town Hall, and has been a frequent speaker at their meetings.
- Assists not-for-profit and for-profit corporations for condominiums, homeowners associations, cooperatives and timeshares with contract and other legal document preparation, interpretation and application.
- Performs legal research and draft opinions, memoranda of law, and other documents on a variety of issues, including corporate governance, intellectual property, ADA, employment, insurance, copyright and real estate issues.
- Advises board members and committee members on statutory and regulatory compliance, due diligence, and other corporate legal issues.
