NEW YORK – July 17, 2015 – Law firm Becker & Poliakoff today announced that attorney Vincenzo M. Mogavero has been selected to the 2015 New York Rising Stars list. Every year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the Super Lawyers research team to receive this honor.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The Rising Star award is given annually to attorneys who are younger than 40 years of age and who have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
At Becker & Poliakoff, Vincenzo focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He has represented clients in civil and criminal cases, mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals involving complex contractual disputes and many other issues under the umbrella of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Mogavero is a member of the American and New Jersey State Bar Associations. He received his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, and his law degree from Seton Hall University.
