Hugo Alvarez, shareholder in our Business Litigation group, and Yolanda Cash Jackson, shareholder in our Government Law & Lobbying group, have been nominated as Legal Luminary Award finalists by the Dade County Bar Association.
Mr. Alvarez is a nominee in the Insurance category, Ms. Jackson in the Lobbying & Government Relations category. With over 71,000 nominations cast, the duo joins a select group who will attend the Association’s Awards Gala on July 26. Between now and then, judges and lawyers will choose between the finalists in each category and the winner will announced at the Gala.

Hugo’s work with the firm focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation involving business disputes, real estate and insurance-related claims. Yolanda concentrates her practice in government relations, with a particular proficiency in state government funding and appropriations.
