Daniel Wallach Quoted in Washington Post on NJ Sports Betting Case

Sports attorney Daniel Wallach (a Becker & Poliakoff shareholder) was recently interviewed by Will Hobson of the Washington Post about the Third Circuit Court of Appeals’ delay in ruling on New Jersey’s plan to legalize sports betting at state-licensed racetracks and casinos. Dan, who attended the March 17th oral argument, told the Washington Post that there was nothing unusual about the court’s delay in the ruling. He explained that “[t]he deadline is when they feel like it. Nobody can tell them to speed it along. Their first priority is getting it right.” The article also links to Dan’s analysis of the oral argument published in Sports Law Blog.
