Alejandro Alamo is a Government Relations Consultant in Becker’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice. Mr. Alamo has extensive experience in leading government affairs departments, investigating and analyzing legislation, and participating in shaping public policy, as well as a record of successfully collaborating with government entities to influence and interpret policy.
Mr. Alamo represents several municipal governments before the Florida legislature including Miami Springs, Virginia Gardens, Pinecrest, Sweetwater, Homestead, and South Miami. His work in government also includes representation at the local level in Miami-Dade.
Prior to joining Becker, Mr. Alamo was Director of Communications and Government Affairs for Our Kids of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Inc., where he was responsible for developing, cultivating and managing relations with elected officials and business and community leaders. He also previously served as a Legislative Assistant to then State Representative and now Lieutenant Governor Jeanette M. Nuñez.

- Mr. Alamo is a member of the 41st class of Leadership Miami, a program that helps prepare future leaders for success by cultivating civic engagement and educating members on identifying and addressing vital issues that impact Miami-Dade County now and in the future.
