Oliver Encarnacion is an attorney in Becker’s New Jersey Community Association Practice specializing in Collections and Foreclosures. Prior to joining Becker, Oliver worked as a Staff Attorney at a non-profit law firm providing free, high quality civil legal aid for low-income individuals in Middlesex County. Oliver has also worked in-house as staff counsel for an auto insurance carrier, engaging in all phases of civil litigation for bodily injury liability and auto property damage cases as well and arbitrations and settlement negotiations for personal injury protection claims.

Throughout his career, Oliver has represented low-income tenants in eviction proceedings in New Jersey Landlord-Tenant Court, appeared in court for Case Management Conferences and Trials for housing matters, interviewed tenants, provided pertinent legal advice and guidance, drafted, and filed post-judgment motions and applications for Order to Show Cause, and provided advice and representation in select foreclosure matters. Additionally, he has experience managing mass toxic torts and asbestos litigation cases as well as drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, FOIA requests, answers to interrogatories, responses to document demands, and monthly reports to clients.
