Shareholder Joseph E. Adams Appointed to Two Florida Bar Leadership Positions

Ft. Myers, FL – July 1, 2019 – Becker is pleased to announce that Shareholder Joseph E. Adams has been named Chair of the Florida Bar’s Condominium and Planned Development Law Certification Committee.

According to The Florida Bar’s website, these committees are “charged with identifying for the general public and the profession those attorneys who have substantial experience and have demonstrated special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in certified areas of practice and professionalism and ethics in the practice of law.”

Also effective today, Mr. Adams has been appointed Co-Chair of the Condominium and Planned Development Committee of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section (RPPTL) of the Florida Bar where he also serves as a member of the Executive Council.

The RPPTL Section organizes those with the highest levels of knowledge, experience, and commitment within the real property, probate, and trust law community in order to better serve the citizens of the State of Florida. It is charged with developing a standard of ethics and competent practice in real property, probate, and trust law.

For over thirty years, Mr. Adams has concentrated his legal practice in the area of Condominium and Planned Development Law. He is widely recognized as a leading expert and thought leader in the field. During his career, he has provided legal counsel to over 1,000 community associations, primarily in Southwest Florida, where he serves as the Managing Shareholder of Becker’s Naples and Fort Myers offices. Mr. Adams is also one of only 190 Florida attorneys who is a Board Certified Specialist in Condominium and Planned Development Law.
