Brian Daughney to be Honored as “Citizen of the Year” at 2019 Pineapple Ball

We are pleased to announce that Brian Daughney, Shareholder in Becker’s Corporate Practice, has been selected as a 2019 Pineapple Ball Honoree by the Garden City Chamber of Commerce. Brian will be presented with the prestigious “Citizen of the Year” award at this year’s gala on Friday, April 26, 2019. The award was established in 1970 to recognize outstanding philanthropic efforts and services which have contributed to the success of the Village of Garden City, New York.

Brian’s practice focuses on the representation of issuers and investors in a wide range of corporate transactions including securities offerings, seed capital offerings, venture capital financings, and other forms of private equity investment, among other matters. Outside of his legal work, Brian serves as the Mayor of the Village of Garden City, New York, a position he’s held since April 2017. He previously served as a Village Trustee for seven years.
