Cristina Valencia is an attorney in Becker’s Business Litigation Practice. Ms. Valencia defends and guides clients through all stages of litigation from the inception of suit through trial, including drafting pleadings and motions, preparing and engaging in discovery, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and negotiating settlement agreements.
Ms. Valencia formerly served as judicial intern for The Honorable Beth Bloom of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She also interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where she participated in witness interviews, drafted responses to motions and researched case law and memoranda regarding securities law issues such as advance fee fraud, broker-dealer registration, and violations of the Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations.
