Daniel Wallach Interviewed on CNBC About Sports Betting Legalization

Sports attorney Daniel Wallach (a Becker & Poliakoff shareholder) recently appeared on CNBC’s Power Lunch to provide insights into the New Jersey sports betting controversy and how it could impact the legalization of sports betting nationally. Dan observed that the New Jersey case will likely dictate the “timing” of when single-game sports wagering becomes legal throughout the United States. He explained that an appellate victory by New Jersey would accelerate the timetable for nationwide legalization, whereas a New Jersey loss would delay the process by several years at least. He also said to look for Pennsylvania and Delaware to follow the same path to legalization if New Jersey wins.
