Becker’s Jennifer Bales Drake Named to South Florida Business Journal’s 2026 Power Leaders 250 List
Becker is proud to announce that Jennifer Bales Drake, Chair of Becker’s Real Estate Practice and Vice Chair of the firm’s Public, Private Partnerships (P3) practice group, has been recognized on the South Florida Business Journal’s 2026 Power Leaders 250 list—an annual compilation honoring South Florida’s most influential and impactful executives across key industries. This prestigious recognition celebrates leaders whose professional achievements, industry influence, and community leadership are shaping the region’s economic and business landscape.
Jennifer serves as Chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the economic development organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale and Broward County, where she helps lead efforts to attract, expand, and retain high-wage jobs and capital investment in targeted industries, strengthen vibrant communities, and enhance the region’s overall quality of life. In addition to chairing the Alliance, Jennifer serves on the board of Business for the Arts Broward and is an active member of United Way Broward’s Women United.
Her practice focuses on commercial transactions which range from planned project development, including creation of condominiums, mixed use developments, townhome developments and single family developments, condominium conversions, public-private partnership transactions (P3), which includes representing municipalities, higher education institutions and private parties; real estate contract negotiation, mortgage and asset based financing for both financial institutions and borrowers, commercial leases, ground leases; preparation of joint venture agreements for real estate transactions, as well as real estate workouts and liquidation of real estate owned (REO) properties for financial institutions.
