Overview
Allison L. Hertz is a shareholder in the West Palm Beach office of Becker. Ms. Hertz is board-certified by The Florida Bar in Condominium and Planned Development Law. She is a graduate of the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and Ms. Hertz has exclusively represented community associations and individual property owners since being admitted to The Florida Bar in 2007.
Ms. Hertz’s practice includes counseling boards of directors in connection with all aspects of operational and governance issues; amending governing documents; reviewing and preparing contracts; reviewing and preparing association loan documents; advising boards of directors on dispute resolution strategies; advising associations on fair housing issues; and developing and implementing strategic plans for collections, covenant enforcement, and litigation.
Ms. Hertz is the immediate past Co-Chair of the Condominium and Planned Development Law Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of The Florida Bar. Notably, Ms. Hertz served as the Reporter for the Condominium Law and Policy Life Safety Advisory Task Force of the Section. Currently, Ms. Hertz serves as the Co-Vice Chair of the Section’s Insurance and Surety Committee. She is also a member of the Condominium and Planned Development Law Board Certification Committee of The Florida Bar.
Ms. Hertz devotes her practice to working with her clients on the broad range of legal issues that community associations face on a regular basis. She has extensive experience in all aspects of community association law. Ms. Hertz is a native of Palm Beach County.
