Alyssa Weiss is an attorney in Becker’s Business Litigation Practice based in the Ft. Lauderdale office. Ms. Weiss represents clients in a broad range of litigation issues. Her experience includes defending financial institutions, FinTech companies, and mortgage entities in complex civil litigation and class action cases. With a background in federal and state courts, Ms. Weiss prides herself on translating complex legal concepts into clear, concise language to serve her clients effectively.
Active within the legal community, Ms. Weiss is a member of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and Consumer Financial Services Committee, as well as the Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. In 2025, she was recognized among the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for her work in Commercial Litigation.
Ms. Weiss earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as an Editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy and as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy. She was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Practice. Additionally, she holds a B.S. in Journalism, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida.
