Overview

Alyssa Weiss is an attorney in Becker’s Business Litigation Practice based in the Fort Lauderdale office. Ms. Weiss represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial and business litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Her practice includes handling business torts, contract disputes, and intellectual property infringement across a variety of industries. Known for her strategic and practical approach, Ms. Weiss excels at translating complex legal concepts into clear, concise guidance that helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes effectively.

Ms. Weiss is a member of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, as well as the Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She is one of six Florida Bar Business Law Section Fellows for the 2026-2028 Fellowship class. Since 2025, Ms. Weiss has been recognized among Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for her work in Commercial Litigation and as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Ms. Weiss earned her B.S. in Journalism, with high honors, and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida. While in law school, she served as an Editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy and as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Practice.
