Bio
Florence King concentrates her practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner, and cooperative associations in the state of Florida. Her experience includes handling collections and foreclosures, vendor contracts, drafting and amending governing documents and enforcing association covenants, assisting association with management issues and other association-related matters. Ms. King is also a licensed mediator and a community association manager.
With an educational foundation in business management, accounting and computer science, she opted to pursue a Juris Doctorate after undergraduate studies and undertake a career of service through the practice of law. Her professional experience prior to her legal practice included both title closings and the land acquisition and development process, as well as serving as a member of several development boards.
A member of the Florida Bar since 2006, she is also licensed to practice in all three U.S. Districts in the state of Florida. A native of Sri Lanka, she cherished the opportunity to volunteer at the Asylum clinic at Ave Maria School of Law and still enjoys giving back her time and talents when possible.
