Overview
Loren Lightman is a shareholder in Becker’s Red Bank, New Jersey office and a member of the firm’s New Jersey Condo, Co-Op & HOA practice group. She has been active in the state’s community association industry for over 20 years and concentrates her practice in the representation of community associations.
Loren counsels her clients in all areas of association representation including transition from developer control, contract negotiation and drafting, interpretation of the governing documents and preparation and enforcement of Association rules and regulations. Loren’s prior experience representing municipal entities provides a knowledgeable background for her work with community associations. Loren utilizes a practical approach when advising her clients on day-to-day matters combined with strong advocacy as needed.
Loren served as President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute in 2021 and prior to that held every position on the Chapter’s Executive Board. Loren also served as the Board liaison to the Chapter’s Legislative Action Committee and was involved with discussing and negotiating regulations pertaining to the developer transition process.
Ms. Lightman is licensed to practice in New Jersey (1994), New York (1995) and the District of Columbia (1997). She received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.S. from Cornell University.
