Overview
Nicolas M. Jimenez is a bilingual (English/Spanish) community association attorney and commercial litigator in the Miami office that often serves his clients as both general and litigation counsel.
As general counsel, Mr. Jimenez represents community associations throughout Florida with respect to all the governance and operational issues that may arise in the community on a day-to-day basis – from the preparation of governing documents, to covenant enforcement, disputes with residents, management, or contractors, plans of termination, or code compliance.
As litigation counsel, Mr. Jimenez represents community associations, businesses, and individuals in both state and federal courts with respect to a diverse range of matters, including community association litigation, contractual disputes, business torts, landlord-tenant disputes, employment disputes, and class actions.
Mr. Jimenez is also a member of the Florida Bar, the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, and the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Jimenez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from Florida International University in 2012, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016. Following graduation, Mr. Jimenez had the privilege to work for the Honorable Celeste Hardee Muir at the 11th Judicial Circuit Court for Miami-Dade County and subsequently worked at boutique firms that focused their practices on commercial litigation and community association law.
