Overview
Rachel H. Leach is an attorney in Becker’s Tampa office, where she focuses her practice on business and community association litigation and related transactional matters, including construction and commercial disputes. She represents condominium and homeowners’ associations, property managers, and businesses in matters involving construction defects, breach of contract, and related claims.
Ms. Leach’s experience spans all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice, mediation, and arbitration. She has defended clients in matters involving construction defects, breach of contract, professional negligence, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, and class actions.
Ms. Leach has second-chaired a six-day AAA arbitration defending a geotechnical engineering firm in a multimillion-dollar construction defect case, securing a full defense award. She has also achieved favorable outcomes in high-exposure construction and commercial matters through strategic motion practice and mediation.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, with a minor in International Business, summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky.
Ms. Leach is admitted to practice law in Florida and Illinois.
