Overview
Yasmin Lee is an attorney in Becker’s Tampa office and a member of the firm’s Condo, Co-Op & HOA Practice. She represents condominium, homeowners’, and cooperative associations in a wide range of legal matters, advising association boards and community managers on governance, contract matters, covenant enforcement, statutory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Becker, Ms. Lee practiced construction and commercial litigation, representing contractors, developers, design professionals, and other construction industry clients in complex disputes throughout Florida. She managed matters from pre-suit through trial preparation, handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and case strategy.
In addition to her litigation background, Ms. Lee has significant transactional experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of business agreements, and advising clients on contractual obligations, risk management, and dispute avoidance, bringing a practical perspective to helping community associations navigate contracts and day-to-day operational issues.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Lee spent more than a decade in executive leadership with a highly regulated healthcare and laboratory organization, where she served as Director of Business Operations. In that role, she oversaw regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, corporate operations, risk management, and strategic planning while leading multidisciplinary teams across several departments. This business leadership experience provides her with a unique understanding of the operational and governance challenges faced by community associations and the boards that serve them.
Ms. Lee earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida.
