Becker was honored with the “We are Proud of You Award” by the University of Miami Law Alumni Association for support of the law school and legal community. Becker’s Managing Shareholder and CEO Gary Rosen accepted the recognition at the Broward Judicial Reception in Fort Lauderdale.
In collaboration with the University of Miami School of Law, Becker established the Alan S. Becker and Gary A. Poliakoff Preeminent Leaders in Law Speaker Series in 2021. This educational platform connects students and legal enthusiasts with practitioners who offer real-world insights into various legal contexts. The series, named in honor of Becker’s founding members Alan Becker and Gary Poliakoff (Becker, J.D. ’69, and Poliakoff, J.D. ’69), also aims to foster a deeper understanding of the complexities of the law.
