Becker’s Federal Lobbying team recently organized one of the first large-scale White House meetings (post-COVID restrictions) for client, the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).
The HNBA, which is the leading national voice of the Hispanic Legal Community, held its annual Washington, D.C. Advocacy Days in late May. The Becker team, including Bert Gómez, Alfonso Lopez, Carissa Faña, and Perry S. Adair, assisted the HNBA in coordinating several meetings with targeted members of Congress and the White House for HNBA membership to advocate on priority issues such as immigration and diversity in the federal judiciary.
As part of the White House briefing, HNBA met with senior officials from the White House Counsel’s Office, the Office of Public Engagement, and the National Economic Council.
