Becker served as a proud sponsor of Backpack Barber Foundation’s first-ever fundraising event, “Cocktails for Cuts.” All of the proceeds raised from the event will help the Foundation in its mission to provide the homeless with professional haircuts, backpacks, and hygiene items.
Becker shareholder Jeremy Sahn sits on the executive board of the Foundation and donates significant time, resources, and pro bono legal counsel to the cause.
“Becker is proud to be assisting The Foundation as a central supporter, handling all of their corporate paperwork and filings,” Jeremy noted. “The Foundation gives back to the community and inspires those less fortunate to improve their lives. Having a fresh haircut can do wonders for a person’s self-esteem.”
The Backpack Barber Foundation, founded by local barber Greg Young, helps to address the growing homeless issue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
