Board Certified Construction Attorney Lee A. Weintraub Receives Accreditation from American Arbitration Association

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, February 4, 2010 – Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., a diversified commercial law firm with more than 130 attorneys in 13 Florida offices, New York City, New Jersey, Nassau, Bahamas, Prague and affiliated international offices, today announced that Lee A.Weintraub, a Board Certified Construction Lawyer and Shareholder in the firm’s Construction Law Group, has been accredited as a Certified Arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association.

With his construction background, Mr. Weintraub will focus his arbitration practice on handling complex construction matters involving defective work, delay-related claims and matters involving construction liens, contracts, bonds and licensing.

An active member of the Florida Bar Construction Law Committee and Chair of the Annual Construction Law Institute, Mr. Weintraub received his B.S., B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991.
