FT. MYERS, FL, March 1, 2011 – Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. today announced that Steven P. Kushner, a shareholder and business and real estate attorney in the Firm’s Ft. Myers office, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Southwest Florida. The appointment by the business leadership development organization for Southwest Florida is for a one-year term.
Mr. Kushner just graduated in the 2011 Class of Leadership Lee County, a community leadership development program of the regional chamber. Every Leadership Class adopts a charitable class project as its major contribution to the community. Mr. Kushner has accepted the prestigious role of Class Project Leader for the 2011 Class.
Mr. Kushner has been practicing law in Florida since 1982. For nearly 30 years, he has represented Fortune 1000 companies, large and small developers, banks, property owners and private investors in a variety of transactions, including the purchase and sale of businesses, real estate acreage, and commercial and residential properties. Mr. Kushner is a graduate of The American University School of Law and the University of Maryland.
