Chris Berardini is a Senior International and Government Relations Director in Becker’s Federal Lobbying Practice.

Recognized as a specialist in U.S. policy towards Africa, the Western Hemisphere, and the Middle East, Chris possesses nearly two decades worth of senior level experience in congressional relations, legislative politics and advocacy including over thirteen years as a Chief of Staff in the United States Congress. Mr. Berardini brings clients an extensive level of experience in and the knowledge of the inner workings of Capitol Hill.

While serving on Capitol Hill, he maintained a robust legislative portfolio including Foreign Affairs, Financial Services and FinTech, Insurance and Housing, International Tax and Trade, Energy and Environment, Appropriations, Agriculture, and Organized Labor.

Specific legislation that Mr. Berardini has been responsible for that was enacted into law includes: The Terrorism Risk Insurance Act Reauthorization Act, The Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act of 2014, The New York City Natural Gas Supply Enhancement Act, and The Multinational Species Conservation Funds Semipostal Stamp Act.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Mr. Berardini worked in bipartisan collaboration with the New York and New Jersey congressional delegations to pass the 2013 Disaster Relief Appropriations Act which secured over $50 billion in disaster aid for coastal communities in New York and New Jersey.

Federally in Washington, DC, Chris currently represents the State of Qatar, the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the Canadian Province of Québec and has also represented the Kingdom of Morocco achieving significant trade, investment funding, and diplomatic accomplishments for them.
