Overview

Fiona Wu is an attorney in Becker’s Corporate Practice based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on capital markets, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law compliance. Fiona regularly advises both domestic and international clients on IPOs, secondary offerings, and corporate governance matters.

A native speaker of English and Mandarin, Fiona brings a global perspective to her work, having advised companies across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. She has experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of transaction documents, SEC filings—including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, S-8, F-3, proxy statements as well as due diligence reports. She also supports clients in navigating listing requirements and coordinating with regulatory agencies and financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Before joining Becker, Fiona was part of an international capital markets practice in New York City.

Fiona earned her Juris Doctor degree from The Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she was Co-President of the International Law Society and received the Public Service Star for her work with the Center of Wrongful Convictions. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from IE University, where she was a multi-year scholarship recipient and a participant of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
