Overview
Fiona Wu is an attorney in Becker’s Corporate Practice based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on capital markets, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law compliance. Fiona regularly advises both domestic and international clients on IPOs, secondary offerings, and corporate governance matters.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese, Fiona brings a global perspective to her work, having advised companies across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. She has experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of transaction documents, SEC filings—including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, S-8, F-3, and proxy statements—and due diligence reports. She also supports clients in navigating listing requirements and coordinating with regulatory agencies and financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
Before joining Becker, Fiona gained hands-on experience with an international capital markets practice in New York and advised a biomedical company on regulatory compliance and investor relations across Australian and Taiwanese markets.
Fiona earned her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she was Co-President of the International Law Society and received the Public Service Star. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from IE University in Madrid, Spain, where she was a multi-year scholarship recipient and represented her class in academic competitions and moot courts.
