Bio
Mr. Direktor is Chair of Becker’s Community Association practice group which includes over fifty attorneys. He personally represents communities from Miami to Vero Beach focusing on representation of condominium, homeowners and cooperative associations and country clubs. He is a regular speaker on the topics of insurance, hurricane recovery, fiscal management, document drafting and other issues for various civic and community associations for the Community Associations Institute and for Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Seminars. Mr. Direktor is one of a select group of attorneys statewide who are Board Certified Specialists in Condominium and Planned Development Law and has served as a member and as the chair of the Florida Bar Committee for Board Certification of attorneys in Condominium and Planned Development Law.
Mr. Direktor previously taught community association law at Nova Southeastern University College of Law as an Adjunct Professor. Recognized in his field, Mr. Direktor was designated by Florida Business Magazine as one of “Florida’s Legal Elite” in Real Estate Law and has been recognized by Florida Trend Legal Elite.
Mr. Direktor regularly lectures for various management companies and management associations on community association legal, operational, and practical issues and has lectured for CAI’s National Law Seminar, the Advanced Judicial Studies Seminar, and the University of Miami School of Law’s Annual Cluster Housing Institute. He has been interviewed on national and local television and quoted in national, statewide and local publications.

Mr. Direktor is a member of the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers, a group of attorneys who have distinguished themselves through contributions to community association law and who have committed themselves to high standards of ethical conduct. Fewer than 150 lawyers are members of this exclusive group.
