Bio
Lisa is a senior attorney in the firm’s Government Law & Lobbying practice and has experience dealing with legal matters involving land use, zoning, development, government contracts, and procurement. She represents international, national, and local developers in securing governmental approvals for large-scale residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, mixed use and retail projects before various municipal and county governments.
Lisa also represents agricultural landowners before county property appraisers and Value Adjustment Boards on property classification and taxation matters. She was the first attorney in the state to successfully obtain an agricultural classification for property utilized for dog training. Lisa’s clients include international and national developers, the leading national provider of waste disposal and recycling services, a publicly traded international self-storage company, and a national natural gas supplier.
Her understanding of development in the region comes from her past experience as a project manager for a landscape architecture and planning firm where she led the design, planning, and management of multiple large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments through to approval.

EXPERIENCE
- Had a Petition for Writ of Certiorari granted by the 15th Judicial Circuit against the City of Riveria Beach, Florida quashing the city’s order approving five variances for the development of a beach front seventeen story condominium.
- Represented a client in a Code Enforcement Fine reduction hearing and had $141,000 fine reduced to $10,000 and removed the property the lien
- Successfully represented a client at a Value Adjustment Board hearing and had a $18.1 million property valuation reduced to $2.2 million for Zellwood Co-Op Inc., a 55+ resident-owned community in Central Florida
