Overview
Ronald J. Dwyer is an attorney in Becker’s Construction Law & Litigation Practice, where he represents real estate owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and suppliers in all aspects of construction-related disputes. His practice spans litigation, arbitration, mediation, and transactional matters involving both private and public projects.
Ronald’s experience includes drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and arbitration statements; conducting depositions of fact witnesses; and appearing in court for oral arguments and conferences.
Prior to joining Becker, Ronald was an associate in the Construction Practice Group of a New York-based law firm, where he gained extensive experience handling complex disputes across the construction industry. While in law school, he worked with the Robert W. Entenmann Veterans Law Clinic, where he provided legal aid to veterans seeking disability benefits and discharge upgrades. His work earned him the Veterans Law Clinic Award for excellence in advocacy. He also interned for the Honorable Frederic Block of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Ronald earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he was active in the Federal Bar Association and Dispute Resolution Society. He received his B.A. in Economics from Fairfield University. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Ronald worked as a project manager for a prominent New York City construction company, where he led teams on large scale public construction projects.
Ronald is admitted to practice in Florida, New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
