Vanessa Kabu-Asante is an associate attorney in Becker’s Corporate Practice Group in New York.
Drawing upon prior legal experience at a financial institution, her practice focuses on counseling clients on securities law matters and supporting a wide range of corporate transactions. Vanessa regularly advises clients on matters under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, including private placements, SEC reporting and disclosure obligations, and regulatory filings. Her experience also encompasses advising and supporting the boards of both private and public companies.
Vanessa earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in International Development.
She is admitted to practice law in both New York and Ontario.
