Becker is pleased to announce that Steven B. Lesser, Chair of the firm’s national Construction Law & Litigation practice group, has been appointed as Special Advisor to the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Specialization, which approves accreditation of lawyers nationally.
Steven has a deep history with board certification. He is Board Certified in Construction Law, served as Chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Specialization for the past three years and was past-Chair of the Florida Board of Legal Specialization and Education which oversees the largest certification program in the Country. Additionally, he was past-Chair of the Florida Bar Construction Law Certification Committee.
Steve will serve a one-year term commencing with the adjournment of the 2023 Annual Meeting on August 8, 2023.
