May 6, 2022 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Becker, a multi-practice commercial law firm with attorneys, lobbyists, and other professionals throughout the US, is pleased to announce that Vincenzo M. Mogavero has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer.
In his new position, Mogavero will report directly to the firm’s executive management, and have primary responsibility for developing and implementing Becker’s corporate vision and strategic initiatives. He is also tasked with improving organizational structure and operations and coordinating the integration of newly acquired businesses and practice groups into the firm’s systems. In addition, Vincenzo has been asked to analyze and monitor the firm’s performance and report on the progress of the firm in achieving its goals and business plans.
Since 2015, Mogavero has chaired Becker’s New York and New Jersey Litigation Department, a responsibility he will continue to assume. Vincenzo is an experienced New Jersey-based business and construction litigator who devotes most of his practice to complex civil litigation in high stakes matters. Mogavero has litigated complex business disputes in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; tried matters before the American Arbitration Association; and has participated in multi-district federal litigation.
Mogavero was recently elevated to equity partner; the youngest at Becker to achieve this status in many years. Additionally, Mogavero completed his MBA from Cornell University in 2018 while working full-time as a litigator. He previously served as regional chief operating officer of Becker’s New York and New Jersey offices, and his responsibilities will continue as part of his new role as Chief Strategy Officer.
