Becker is pleased to announce that it represented its long-time public healthcare client, DLH Corporation, in the closing of a $95 million credit facility for the acquisition of privately-held firm, Social & Scientific Systems (SSS). The newly acquired firm was purchased for $70 million in cash with a $25 million working capital revolving credit line available to support future cash needs.
Michael Goldstein served as lead on the transaction with assistance from Victor DiGioia, Sarah Klein, and new financial services attorney Paul Shur.
Moving forward, newly acquired SSS is estimated to contribute approximately $65 million, on an annualized basis, to revenue of DLH. SSS, a leading public health organization, will add to DLH’s existing portfolio and help expand its Public Health & Life Sciences focus area.
DLH provides professional healthcare and public services to military and civilian Federal Government agencies including the U.S. Departments of Defense, Health and Human Services, and Veterans Affairs.
