Becker Celebrates the Launch of Resilience: Essays by Women in Law

10.28.2026

On October 22, Becker welcomed clients and friends to The Tower Club Fort Lauderdale for an evening of appreciation, connection, and celebration, marking the launch of Resilience: Essays by Women in Law.

Guests enjoyed drinks, refreshments, and networking with Becker attorneys while celebrating the women behind this meaningful collection. Conceptualized and edited by Becker Shareholder Donna DiMaggio Berger, the book brings together personal essays from women attorneys and professionals across the firm, offering candid reflections on perseverance, leadership, mentorship, personal growth, and the experiences that have shaped their lives and careers.

Through stories of overcoming challenges, embracing opportunities, and navigating the legal profession, the contributors provide an inspiring look at the resilience that defines both their professional and personal journeys. Their essays explore the lessons learned from adversity, the importance of community and support, and the determination required to pursue success while creating meaningful impact for clients, colleagues, and communities.

The evening served as an opportunity to recognize the many contributors whose voices make the collection so impactful. Representing a wide range of backgrounds, practice areas, and experiences, the authors share obstacles overcome, values embraced, and moments of growth that have shaped their paths, creating a powerful testament to strength, determination, and the importance of lifting others along the way.

The celebration also provided a chance to thank our clients and friends for their continued trust and support. These relationships are at the heart of Becker’s success, and we were delighted to come together to honor both the launch of Resilience and the partnerships that have helped shape our firm’s success.
