FT. MYERS, FL, June 18, 2010 – Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. today announced that shareholders Joseph E. Adams and Herbert Brock, Jr., attorneys in the firm’s Southwest Florida practice, were selected for the 2010 Florida Super Lawyers listing in the areas of Real Estate and Construction Litigation, respectively.
Becker & Poliakoff also announced the selection of attorneys Sarah Spector and Jason Mikes, of Ft. Myers and Naples respectively, as Florida Rising Stars 2010, in the areas of Land Use/Zoning and Real Estate, respectively. The Rising Star designation recognizes the state’s top young attorneys.
The “Super Lawyer” list, a ratings service of Thomson Reuters, consists of the top 5 percent of attorneys in Florida. The outstanding attorneys included in the list are chosen by their peers and through independent research of Thomson Reuters.
Mr. Adams, the Managing Shareholder of Becker & Poliakoff’s Naples and Fort Myers offices, was named to the Florida Super Lawyers list for the fifth consecutive year. Mr. Brock has been selected annually since 2007,
Mr. Adams concentrates his practice in Community Association Law. Mr. Brock, a Board Certified Construction Attorney, focuses his practice on construction litigation matters.
