Attorney installed as president at annual luncheon

MIAMI – December 16, 2015 – Michael C. Góngora, a shareholder with the Miami office of law firm Becker & Poliakoff, has been elected president of the Miami Beach Bar Association. He was officially installed at the organization’s Annual Installation and Judicial Appreciation Luncheon on Dec. 8 at Smith & Wollensky, in Miami Beach. Acclaimed criminal defense attorney Roy Black served as keynote speaker, and Miami-Dade Chief Circuit Court Judge Bertila Soto installed the new officers and directors with Third District Court of Appeals Chief Judge Richard Suarez installing Góngora as president.

Góngora, who is a former Miami Beach commissioner, is the lead community association litigator at the Miami office of Becker & Poliakoff, where he represents community associations on various issues including handling contracts, association declarations and disputes.
