Bethune Statue Bill a Big Win for Our State Lobbying Team

Congratulations to Yolanda Cash Jackson, Mario Bailey and our entire lobbying team in Tallahassee! With Gov. Rick Scott poised to sign a bill that will lead to a statue of civil-rights leader and educator Mary McLeod Bethune replacing the likeness of a Confederate general as a representative of Florida in the U.S. Capitol, we tip our hats to our team’s efforts to push this bill through the legislature.
