Clarence Williams, Senior Government Relations Consultant in our Washington, D.C. office, was a featured panelist yesterday at The City of North Miami’s 2nd Quarter Business Luncheon. Clarence was part of a three-person panel entitled “2018 Legislative Round-Up: Updates from Tallahassee & Washington, D.C. to North Miami.”
Having led Becker’s federal lobbying efforts on behalf of North Miami for several years, Clarence briefed the crowd on the latest initiatives he and the firm have undertaken over the past several months, including his work to increase funding for Opportunity Zones for small businesses in North Miami.
Hosted by North Miami Mayor Smith Joseph at FIU’s Kovens Conference Center, the luncheon also featured Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson, who represents Florida District 24 in the U.S. House of Representatives.
