Longtime firm client Eastern Shipbuilding will begin construction on the first of nine Coast Guard Cutters as part of a multi-billion dollar contract awarded to the company in September 2016, as reported by WJHG in Panama City. The new ships will be used to replace the Medium Endurance Cutters, currently in service. Our Federal Lobbying team in Washington, D.C., led by Omar Franco and Clarence Williams, worked diligently with Congress to secure funding for the project.
