Becker is proud to share that Gary C. Rosen, Managing Shareholder and Chief Executive Officer, has been featured in the South Florida Business Journal’s 2026 list of Power Leaders in Philanthropy, recognizing influential leaders who are making a meaningful impact in their communities.
The annual recognition highlights executives and professionals across South Florida who dedicate their time, leadership, and resources to charitable initiatives and nonprofit organizations that strengthen the region. Rosen’s inclusion reflects his long-standing commitment to civic engagement and community service alongside his leadership in the legal profession.
Since becoming Managing Shareholder and CEO in 2012, Rosen has guided Becker’s strategic growth, overseeing the firm’s governance, recruitment, and business strategy. An experienced board-certified litigator, he has represented public and private entities, including governments and corporations, and protects national clients’ intellectual property through civil trademark and copyright infringement actions.
In addition to his work with clients, Rosen has prioritized philanthropy and community leadership throughout his career. Rosen has been involved with United Way of Broward County, where he previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors and continues to support the organization’s mission to improve education, financial stability, and health outcomes in the community.
He has also helped advance initiatives that connect the legal profession with broader civic leadership, including playing an instrumental role in establishing the Alan S. Becker and Gary A. Poliakoff Preeminent Leaders in Law Speaker Series at the University of Miami School of Law, which brings prominent public figures and thought leaders to the law school community.
Under Rosen’s leadership, Becker has also expanded its firmwide community impact through the Becker Gives Back initiative, encouraging attorneys and professionals across the firm to support charitable organizations, volunteer efforts, and nonprofit leadership roles throughout the communities where they live and work.
