Gary Rosen Discusses Becker’s Return to Work, Vaccination Protocols

Becker's Managing Shareholder Gary RosenLike all businesses, Becker is navigating the uncharted waters of returning to work post-pandemic. While providing premium client service remains a top priority, maintaining a safe and supportive environment in which to serve is paramount for firm leadership.

Managing Shareholder Gary Rosen offered the Daily Business Review a look into the firm’s hybrid workweek and vaccination protocols, emphasizing that Becker’s long commitment to innovation encouraged leadership to design a bespoke solution that acknowledged a new ‘new normal’.

“There have been certain eye-opening advantages to remote work, including avoidance of bothersome commuting, saving on gas and time, and increased ability to spend time at home with spouses, family, and children,” he said in Slowly But Surely, South Florida’s Law Firms Are Making Their Way Back to the Office. “We briefly considered requiring employees to become vaccinated,” he continued in How South Florida Firms Are Pushing Toward Full-Vax. “And we quickly rejected that somewhat draconian approach in favor of strong messaging encouraging our folks to do so.”

Rosen has been at the forefront of the return-to-work discussion and offered his predictions in What Pandemic-Era Changes Are ‘Here to Stay’ for Law Firms? published in February 2021.
