Omar Franco Voted to the Hispanic Lobbyists Association’s Board of Directors

Becker is thrilled to announce that Omar Franco will be returning to serve on the Hispanic Lobbyists Association’s (HLA) Board of Directors!

The HLA is dedicated to advancing and empowering Hispanic/Latino government relations and public affairs professionals by fostering mentorship and professional development opportunities. HLA’s members are advocates whose expertise and knowledge make for a more informed policy making process. They work in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, serve as advocates, and are experts in a broad range of issues. The HLA Board of Directors consists of an Executive Committee and nine at-large members. All seats are elected by the general membership and board members serve two-year terms.

Omar heads Becker’s Federal Lobbying Practice in Washington, D.C. He currently represents a wide variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, higher education institutions, trade associations, non-profit organizations, and municipal governments. He is a past President, Treasurer, and board member of the HLA.
