What woman inspires you and why?

While it may be cliché, my mother inspires me. As the oldest of four children, she basically started caring for others at age four and never stopped working hard to provide for her family. She always does it with love and kindness, seeing the best in others, and always hoping for the best.

If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead, who would it be and why?

My grandfather. He passed away when I was seven years old, so I didn’t get a chance to know him as much as I would like. We both have a love of history, so it would be fun to discuss history and life with him.

What advice (professional or personal) would you give your younger self?

Remain calm and confident in yourself.

What led you to the practice of law and/or to your specific area of law?

I wanted to find a career that always challenges me mentally and allows me to help others.

What has living through a global pandemic taught you?

Always cherish your family and friends, and don’t forget to tell them how much you appreciate and love them.
