Becker and Withers Lead Legal Advisory for the Strategic Partnership Between House of Smith and Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine
Milan, 17 July 2025 – Renowned winemaker Charles Smith, founder of the American winery House of Smith, has entered into a strategic partnership with Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine, the historic Verona-based winery with over a century of history and an international ambassador of Amarone della Valpolicella.
Under the agreement, Pasqua will become the exclusive international distributor — starting from September 2025 — of a selection of labels from the House of Smith portfolio, including K Vintners, Real Wine, and Sex Wines. This move confirms the strategic and value alignment between the two entities, united by a shared vision for the future of wine — one rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovative communication.
For the legal aspects of the transaction, House of Smith was advised by Becker, acting as transaction counsel and handling U.S. law matters, with a team led by Shareholder and Chair of the International Practice Group for Europe and Latin America, Gabriel Monzon-Cortarelli, Senior Corporate Attorney Valeria Angelucci, and Shareholder Stephen L.
