Becker’s Federal Lobbying Team was honored to host Lex Fellows in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office this week. Managing Director Omar Franco and Senior Government Relations Consultant Clarence Williams spoke to Lex Fellows about their role as lobbyists and reviewed a case study together on the Federal RFP process.

The Lex Fellowship is a global program that provides pre-law students with the opportunity to travel to multiple firms in their city to gain exposure across various legal specialties. The unique experience provides students with the advantage of studying real cases under the guidance of leaders in the legal field.

Comprised of Washington, D.C. insiders and Capitol Hill veterans, Becker’s Federal Lobbying Team represents public and private clients across industry sectors. Years of congressional experience has resulted in long-standing professional relationships with staff members of many committees in the House and the Senate. Team members have extensive experience in issues relating to federal appropriations, healthcare, higher education, homeland security, defense, taxation, alternative energy, local government issues, and international trade.
