Becker, a multi-practice commercial law firm with attorneys, lobbyists, and other professionals at offices throughout the East Coast, announced its representation of the City of Alexandria, Virginia. The City, located just seven miles from downtown Washington, D.C., has a population of approximately 160,000, is a culturally diverse, historic city, and is home to many professionals who work for, or provide services to, the federal government.
Becker’s Government Relations team will be led by federal lobbyists Anthony Bedell, Amanda Wood, and Omar Franco, who will provide a proactive government affairs effort at the Federal level on behalf of the City of Alexandria. The Federal Lobbying team has a growing portfolio of clients in the Commonwealth, including The Virginia Port Authority, City of Virginia Beach, Norfolk Airport Authority, Virginia Union University, and Transurban.
