With nearly 30 years of expertise in corporate, tax and securities law, Mr. Burwick specializes in tax deferral, mitigation, and minimization. He joins a roster of more than 300 lawyers and staff professionals across Becker’s 18 offices and will be based in Becker’s New York office.
Prior to joining Becker, Burwick held partner positions at two AM Law 200 firms. Burwick has developed and implemented innovative tax strategies drawn from underutilized sections of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) to assist businesses of varying sizes, as well as high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts, to navigate the timing and payment of both capital gains and ordinary income taxes.
