Becker proudly announces that Managing Shareholder Gary C. Rosen and Shareholder Yolanda Cash Jackson have been named to Florida Trend’s prestigious Florida 500 list of the state’s most influential executives for another year. This honor reflects an extensive research effort by the editors of Florida Trend to identify the state’s most impactful leaders across diverse economic sectors. Rosen has appeared on the list every year since its inception in 2018, while Jackson has earned the honor every year since 2021.
Rosen joined Becker in 1982, advancing from litigator to Chair of the Litigation Practice and then to Managing Shareholder and CEO in 2012. His diverse clients include local governments, developers, financial institutions, and healthcare professionals. He has spearheaded key initiatives at Becker, such as the Becker Gives Back nonprofit partnerships and a professionalism pilot program in the Broward County Circuit Court. Rosen is also a past chair of the United Way of Broward County. “Being named among Florida’s top executives is an honor that speaks to the collective impact of our firm and our commitment to both clients and community,” said Rosen. “At Becker, we continually strive to advance our services, strengthen our partnerships, and give back to the communities that have supported us.”
Jackson, a seasoned Government Law attorney and lobbyist, has been a member of Becker’s management committee since 2010. Renowned for her dedication to leadership and community service, she was honored as Florida Trend’s 2022 Floridian of the Year, named the “2024 Outstanding Minority Partner at a Majority Firm” by the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division, and recognized as a 2019 Liberty City Hero, among many other accolades. She is also the immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s official economic development organization. Specializing in Governmental Relations, she is highly skilled in state government funding and appropriations and has built close working relationships with some of Florida’s most influential elected officials and policymakers.
Reflecting on this recognition, Jackson said, “It’s deeply gratifying to be included in a group of leaders who are shaping Florida’s future. My work is dedicated to ensuring that all voices in our communities are heard and represented, and I’m grateful to be able to contribute to meaningful change.”
The recognition of Rosen and Jackson among Florida’s 500 most influential executives underscores their exceptional contributions and influence in their fields. Becker is honored to celebrate their achievements and to have such distinguished professionals leading our firm.
